Restructure for a family apartment
How to temporarily transform a 3-bedroom apartment into a 4-bedroom apartment to grow with the family’s needs
Beautiful apartment, right size, perfect location, only one room missing. The decisive factor for the actual purchase of the property was the consultation on the possible restructuring of the 3-room apartment in Vienna Hietzing. As long as the teenage children live at home, the family needs a third bedroom, which will be repurposed later. For this purpose, the kitchen was integrated into the living room; and the lounge area was raised with a platform, marking the individual areas of use and structurally and atmospherically dividing the spacious kitchen-living room; minor interventions that can be reversed at any time to ideally adapt to family life.
