Eggerwirt Spa: Dive into a relaxing feeling of well-being

How tight budgets challenge creativity to consistently prioritize and define sustainability as a relevant variable in the design process.

Characterized by the vintage charm of days gone by, the spa area no longer met the visual requirements of an elegant wellness resort. At the same time, there was a lot of substance worth preserving that needed to be rebuilt in a way that was resource-efficient but effective in terms of financial and time budgets.

Although the design had to be based on the given floor plan including tiled floor, a timeless modern ambience was created with high-quality materials (real wood, textured wallpaper, high-quality textiles) and stylish furnishings. Many visible surfaces and the loose furnishings of the natural-colored interior, in which cool shades of green and blue provide elegant contrasts, were also renewed.
